Historical Note

Son of Victor Augustus Mapp and Elizabeth Nichols Scott, William J. Mapp (ca1840-1907) and his wife Emory P. Downing Mapp (1848-1913) were married in 1862. In 1900, they were living in Franktown, Northampton County, VA. Delaware native William L. Elzey (1856-1936), son of James Elzey and Hester Bradley, married Sarah V. Collins (1861-1918) in 1880. In 1900, they were living in Franktown, Northampton County, V\A.
