Historical
Note
John S. Byrd (1808-1865) was a Salisbury, MD native for most
of his life. He married Elizabeth Esther Pollitt
(1810-1850), and had four children: Elizabeth Esther Byrd
(b. 1837), Thomas Irving Byrd (1839-1906), Sarah Ann Byrd
(1844-1883), and William Anna Byrd (b. 1847).
