Welcome to the FDR Tours the Eastern Shore digital exhibit! On Labor Day in 1938, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt toured the Eastern Shore of Maryland, beginning in Crisfield and passing through Denton before leaving the Eastern Shore. Using Flash animation, the Nabb Research Center is able to present his trip in more than just words. Roads traveled in this exhibit are the roads FDR likely used on his trip over 70 years ago.
