Welcome to the FDR Tours the Eastern
Shore digital exhibit! On Labor Day in 1938, President Franklin
Delano Roosevelt toured the Eastern Shore of Maryland,
beginning in Crisfield and passing through Denton before leaving the
Eastern Shore. Using Flash animation, the Nabb Research Center is
able to present his trip in more than just words. Roads traveled in
this exhibit are the roads FDR likely used on his trip over 70 years
