What's New?
At the Nabb Research Center...
A generous loan from the Julia Purnell Museum in Snow Hill, Maryland, has allowed the Nabb Research Center
to add more than a dozen new items to its collections that would be great resources for undergraduate research papers in multiple
disciplines.
Research Ideas:
- Military / Geography: An 1847 letter that refers to geographical features,
roads, and other landmarks to define the bounds of the Eastern Shore Brigade's regiments.
[View portion of letter]
- Education / Women's Studies: A 1920 report card from shows the types of subjects that were
studied by a young woman in a Worcester County high school. [View portion of report card]
And as always, the Nabb Research Center is continually acquiring new materials and thinking of ways in which they may be useful
to students. Use of the Center is free to SU students, so stop by and see how we can help you with your research projects.
