Nabb Research Center's newspaper holdings date chiefly from the mid-nineteenth to twenty-first centuries. Over four hundred bound volumes and [ ] microfilm reels, published in Delaware and Maryland, form the bulk of the collection. Among the rarest titles represented are the African-American newspapers, The Commonwealth, The Maryville Republican, and The Afro American. The repository also holds the local broiler trade journal from Selbyville, DE, The Peninsula Broiler Journal (1941-1951), and its successor, The Broiler Journal and Peninsula Broiler Journal (1952-1966).
